Landscape Design in Gelendzhik

August 14th, 2010 by Irina

During their stay they went to many excursions, including one to the neighbouring town of Gelendzhik, also a very popular Russian resort. There they went to a safari park and to the main city park. On the photos taken in the latter I saw marvelous samples of landscape design.

Janna and Beasties

July 24th, 2010 by Irina

To continue the series of posts about Janna’s adventures with various cute creatures in Anapa, I’ll introduce you today to Roza the horse, Varya the monkey and Zaichik the camel (the name “Zaichik” actually means “little hare”, so you can see that the owners of the camel have a sense of humour :) ).

Janna and Birdies

This post is continuing the series of postings devoted to Janna’s visit to Anapa this year. Shrek Forever After

June 9th, 2010 by Irina

That’s the last movie we saw together – Alex, Janna and I. It happened last Sunday. After buying the tickets, we had an hour and a half to wait before the film would begin, so we went to a cafe to eat some ice cream and then took a walk in a nearby park.

Butterflies

April 25th, 2010 by Irina

Today we visited an exhibition where anyone could enjoy watching tropical butterflies flying around. Usually museums exhibit dead butterflies – beautiful, for sure, but isn’t it a pity that they had to die to please us? This one was different.

How to Train Your Dragon

March 28th, 2010 by Irina

Our family visits to the cinema are becoming a new tradition, or so it looks. Yesterday, when Janna insisted that she and Dad would go watch “How to Train Your Dragon”, I thought I’d send the two of them and stay alone at home blogging or reading. But Alex said no. He wanted it to be a family night, and so I went.
